I was disappointed in this game just like I was the first one. Nothing really changed other than a new map and some graphical cosmetics. Outside of being fun enough to slug through it there really wasn’t much positives to talk about. I never write a review but this game has been so “blah” I need to let folks know before purchasing. - game story is just as boring as the first and that’s hard to do.. Nothing really draws you in and the characters are average at best. - besides finding health stems and a few force/Health increases, exploring is kinda pointless. Not sure how many times I came across a stupid outfit or facial hair. 90% of the time I opened a crate to just open it and move on. - no rewarding feeling when you upgrade. Regardless of what you do, low level enemies still block and do a great deal of damage if you fail to dodge and block. The various “stances” were lack luster and I found my self using only one throughout the entire game. I didn’t even bother upgrading/using the blaster you get half way through the story. -frustrating blocking and parry mechanism. I get the idea of making it like a souls game but the blocking and parry mechanism in this game is extremely lacking. Getting one block is very doable but good luck following up with a second block let alone 3 or 4 in a row. Same with the dodge and roll. You dodge just to find yourself getting hit in the follow up attack. It’s almost guaranteed. -merchants are pointless. I literally bought one thing throughout the entire game. - you plant a garden for… nothing. - rumors and side quests were just as Boring as the story. Actually took me longer to find a the rumor than to actually complete it..wait for it…for nothing. No reward, not sense of accomplishment other than it was a check mark in progress. I could go on but I’m getting mad as I write this. Just beware if you buy this game. I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan so maybe you gotta really appreciate the lore to enjoy it.
