Outstanding cinematography. The gothic haze is overcasting the setting nicely. Storyline gives an "old school" take on Vampires that is both chilling and romantic. In the "jump scare" age we are in, this is refreshing storytelling that gives just enough fright to make you want to leave the light on when you go to bed. The Stephen King adaptation has a slow burn, but manages to keep you in its trance until the end.
