Avatar: The Way of Water is visually imaginative, like the original. The characters for the most part do a great job. However, I thought the story was overly long, almost to the point of boring. I found myself wanting to take a nap during it, though I didn’t. It seemed to me to be a retread of the original Avatar with a different environment. The original was stimulating, creative and imaginative. It was an original in every sense of the word. I felt this new one could have been at least half an hour shorter.
