How anyone can say Gertrude was not a bad person is insane bc she was. She lied till the end and even said her kids and others lied. Who would do all of that to a child that is not theirs or anyone else’s? Why not call the parents and tell them the truth? Start by telling them you can’t care for their children anymore instead of collecting money and lying to them about the welfare of their children and recruiting other teens in the neighborhood to abuse her while in your care to the point she dies. I liked and disliked this movie but it makes you feel things and want to speak out about things you feel are not right instead of turning a blind eye.
