I read the first few Dune books when I was around 12 yrsold. I have now watched this movie twice. I think it may be one of the greatest accomplishments in cinematography, ever. It captured everything, and diminished nothing of the book. The actors are near perfect in their roles. As a kid that used to read SciFi for hours, grumpy when bothered, I am close to breathless when watching this movie.
