Action packed political thrillers with stories so large and expansive that one has to be quick to catch everything. I remember The Hunt for Red October and liked that, but this series is on a whole new level. I was a bit unsure about John Krasinski as Jack Ryan, but he is excellent; I never imagined him as an action hero, but it works. I do miss James Earl Jones as Admiral Greer, but I cannot see him as the rough and tumble character played by Wendell Pierce. I cannot wait for season 3
