What Laura, Marcie and all those of you that gave the film poor reviews is that it was based on an Alan Bennett play. Alan Bennett is renown for his dry sense of humour and the irony of common life events. It was funny, sad at times and the writer obviously wanted to include the following relevant recent events for the past 3 years. So get over yourselves... P. S. I'm a retired nurse and midwife and saw exactly what wasn't quite correct in the ward situations. IT WAS MEANT TO ENTERTAIN AND NOT BE FACTUAL.
