Everything that Disney failed to do, Favreau exceedingly succeeds with "The Mandalorian". The show goes back to what Star Wars is really about - a dysfunctional family. Mando and the kids relationship blossoms into a touching father-son dynamic, whilst the stories both episodically and sequentially grip the viewer like the original trilogies did. One can tell upon watching this series that this was made in service to the story and the fans that were gruesomely let down by Disney's 'cash grab' attempt with the new trilogy. If you're a true fan of the immersive universe, heartwarming stories, and the sci fi spectacle that is Star Wars, watch this show!
