I am a regular viewer of the program and enjoy the intellectual, varied and thoughtful debate. Today, (February 25, 2020) however the ladies around the desk shocked me. Early in the show, guest Mimi Haley, one of Weinstein's accusers and her lawyer were discussing his recent guilty (deserved) verdict. Across the board, all of the View panel condemned his behaviour and strongly supported the need to shift the culture of victim blaming and that the era of men of title and influence getting away with their disgusting behaviour is over. Minutes later, the topic with Mark Cuban and Kevin Leary was Kobe's tribute yesterday, and what a great guy he was. He was a rapist! He paid off his victim and bought Vanessa a diamond the size of an egg to atone. The same panel was weighing in about how great Kobe was. Are you kidding? Very schizoid. You sold out ladies. You buy into the very behaviour you moments earlier said they you deplored; the adoration of entitled athletes who get away with horrible behaviour because they can throw a ball. I am disgusted.
