This book should be mandatory reading in all secondary schools with a good English teacher to explain all that the student does not understand with great empathy and care to encourage them to communicate about their isolation as adolescents in our fast moving, complex world. Morals, ethics, values and humanity should be taught as an introduction to philosophy and politics so that they can cope with the reality of the world.
