Oppenheimer is known for his contribution to making the atomic bomb. Regardless of the moral arguments for and against the creation of the bomb, there is no arguing that it was a tall engineering feet. I assume anyone eager to watch this movie would expect to be taken on a journey about challenges and the ingenuity related to making the bomb. Yet, there was more screen time dedicated to the carnal needs of this man than anything remotely related to his accomplishment. The producer / director could have taken the viewers into the world of quantum mechanics, criticality, super criticality and chain reactions. Yet they preferred to demean the man by focusing on his sex life. If this was done to draw in the audience, then there is no better evidence of the western world’s decline.
