His crimes were inexcusable. I don't care what personality did it. So much attention was given to healing HIM. Stick him in a psych ward with required medication for the rest of his life and NEVER let him out. And focus healing efforts on the victims and their families. The fact they let him out in 1988 is another crime in this story.

If you're a woman and find yourself needing to speak with a police person, NEVER speak with a man. Never Never Never
I trust them as far as I can throw them. Not saying police women don't lie too. But they are MUCH more inclined to empathize with your claims and not try to trap you.
