A perfect mixture of scientific accuracy and reasonable speculative design/behavior choices. Dinosaurs being dinosaurs, not monsters. A nice soundtrack, and interesting scenes that are both intimidating, adorable, funny, and just downright awe inspiring. The CGI is so well made it is hard to tell what is real and what is not. Fantastic. What more could I ask for? I know! MORE EPISODES!!!
The only things I wish could have been done better are just a few inaccuracies (like the feathered wings not folding correctly or something- im no paleontologist, but i've seen them criticize it) in most paleo art I see the wings on dromaeosaurs kindof blend into the body and the different segments fold over eachother, but in this docu the wings are just kindof pinned on.
I was a little bummed the focus was on the same couple of species (for the most part), I really wish I could've seen even more lesser known animals. Although I imagine that would be harder to do, so its okay.
