If I never watched the series and the live action filmed, I'm sure I would have liked this movie way more then I did. Chris Patt is NOT suitable for Garfield. Garfield is supposed to have a raspy soft type of voice. He does not sing, he does not go on weird adventures, and he is NOT that skinny. He is a lazy big BIG cat that doesn't wanna do anything. The jokes were not funny what so ever. I wish they mentioned the mom in this film because she was such a big part in the series. Vic annoyed me so much i hated how they made it seem like he was the only parent who cared about Garfield when his mother was the one who played the good parent and I wanted to rip my ears out everytime Garfield talked. The only good part of this movie was John. If you are a big Garfield fan, do NOT watch this
