Can't not believe the negative reviews. Obviously the authors have struck a nerve with their factual presentation. I now have it in my library alongside another explanatory book from 20 yrs ago, "What's the Matter With Kansas". Social divisiveness is a political method that's been honed for a longtime, and the Republicans (neo-fascists) are perfecting now. I suppose they should be shelved with the ones about what happened during Reconstruction.
