Not as good as the original, shame the teen actor was not part of it. Maori actor, Julian Dennison (from the gem that was 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople') is not strong in this.

A bit slow at first and it took me a few episodes to attune to the rapidness of South African speech but this series has twists and turns in every episode and keeps you wanting to find out what comes next. Very good acting.

The fakest people for the fakest city. Dubai is a lego city- all shiny brick and no substance. It completely lacks culture, class and sophistication. These people fit the scene perfectly. Tacky, vacuous and soulless.

Love Kitty Flanagan and Julia Zemiro. An unloveable, irritating main character is refreshing. We do pathos exceptionally well in Australia but it may not always be understood elsewhere. The mystery light switch had me cacking myself as I have one in my office. A colleague regularly flicks it on and off for fun too.
