Could have been so much more. Character depth and exploration just were not there, despite some talented actors that were sadly mis-cast. The four part series felt soapy, and exploitive rather than like balanced storytelling. Research seems a bit shoddy with timelines being inaccurate at best. Themes like childhood trauma, grief, sexuality, addiction, mental health, parenthood, gender roles - hinted at, but nothing more. Such a shame; both Archie Leach & Cary Grant deserved better. I really cannot recommend this series.
