It is definitely hard to find a good movie with spellbinding acting/directing and/or an unusual/fascinating storyline these days, more and more, simply because we have seen it all, and partly thanks to Marvel, nothing seems good enough. Every new release has less than 5 to 10 seconds after the starting credits to capture audiences' interests today before it gets click-killed. Ready or Not, with Samara Weaving and the other casts, got me hooked till the end, after which I went on to discover more about who this young, new and spectacular lead actress was, as well as the director... I watched Ad Astra, Joker.... and click-killed it in less than a minute, (even though I'm a big fan of Brad Pitt and Joaquin Phoenix), it just felt so bland and dull, unlike Ready or Not, acting, storyline and production quality have that cut-through-clutter effect. 10 stars.
