Let start off by saying I love Halloween, sure some movies are pretty awful, but nonetheless, I love them. This movie is okay, but needs work. SPOILERS AHEAD, YOUVE BEEN WARNED. I feel like one of the movies positives is the environments. The movies lighting and darkness perfectly fit the tone, From the dark parks to Michaels sinister home. The blood and gore is violent and on point, if that's your thing. When the dramatic scenes hit, they hit. Michael did his part and did it perfectly. And finally, the timeline. I like how the movie connects both old and new characters to this new movie. And now...to the negative parts of the movie. The Characters are a HUGE double edged sword. On one hand they're realistic, so I felt pretty relaxed around them. On the other side...some of them are really dumb..like really dumb. If Michael freaking Myers are in your house, I'm getting the freak out. Wouldn't you? Almost all the characters Try to take him on by themselves,and die awful deaths. Their choices are unrealistic and questionable that makes me pause the movie and understand they just did. Second, when the entire town manages to finally corner Michael they beat him. And if feels good seeing Michael Get what he deserves. After beating him for a goodwhile loris daughter stand him in the neck..and that's it.first of all, hes MICHAEL MYERS are they really that naive? They should've done WAY more than that to kill him. Like, cut off his limbs and burn alive. They really should've gone for that. Anyway, once they think they're done, they turn around and Michael gets up and slaughters all of them. And kills lari daughters. The ending is super dumb, it let me more frustrated an confused. Overall, the moviei is good, but needs work. Thanks for reading! Have some popcorn 🍿
