ONE PIECE is not just one of the greatest shows of all time, but I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the greatest works of art of all time. From the very beginning, the show is lovable, but once Luffy forms his crew and sets sail, the show really picks up. If anyone can make it to the end of the Arlong arc where you find out why that guy wears the pinwheel on his hat for Nami, you should be totally hooked (episode 67 or so). With that said, you shouldn’t have to watch 70 episodes of a show to decide that it is a good show, but I promise you that is not the case. The show is very enjoyable up until that point, it’s just that (for me) that moment opened my eyes to just how special of a show it was.
