Look, I'm no professional movie reviewer, I'm just a dude, who watched this movie in bed by myself.
This movie is fantastic! Like, really well done. Pugh is an amazing actor that drew me into her story. Her story was a stark reminder to me that we all deal with grief in our own ways, and that no matter what, it's up to all of us to find a way to take control.
The relationship dynamics between all characters are also very well portrayed. They all left a little to be desired, but that's the beauty in it, that is common of life to do. Morgan Freeman killed it, as usual. Nice to see him taking a role in "new media" as his talents have been missed.
This movie had me in an emotional rollercoaster, which is the sign of a great flick. If you can handle a movie that tugs on your heart strings, reminds you to have empathy for others, motivates you to get back up, and smile, watch this film.
