This is an awesome book.
My fear is that only people who are interested in, or at least tolerant of, Buddhism will read it. Otherwise, people reject the book as being about something other than it really is. It is like the title is a designed to trigger the illusions the book tries to explain, yet, the illusions will lead the reader to believe this book is not for them.
Argh! Uh oh, there it is, impatience.
I do wish it were titled simply, The Science, Philosophy, and Practice of Meditation.
I work to open the door to mindfulness and understanding non-judging and acceptance and it feels like this great resource shuts the door with its title.
: ( - and yes, I'm working on acceptance and perspective.
Good luck, bad luck, who knows?
