Spoiler-free: This takes everything you loved about the Matrix movies and gives you the middle finger. As a fan, this hurts.
The first movie had consequences, danger, action, intense one on one fighting sequences, shoot-outs.
This one? None of the above. The only positive is the deepening of the matrix lore, but even that's just a fleeting "by the way this happened" exposition that's glossed over.
