Unpopular opinion here. First, acting is OK, Toni’s performance is one of the only actors, to get subtle reactions from me during the show. Had to skip some parts with the endless talking about things they get “upset” over or how “unjust” the world is. It’s the self pity and repetitiveness that annoys me. Keep in mind that’s just my dislikes and preferences. I personally got a feminist vibe from the show, which isn’t the worst thing to occur. Yet, it felt a little over the top at times. I will give recognition to certain instances where there are more female authorities, as to the current general male role. Also, this show just feeds the mentality of society on how women spiral in chaos trying to ignore or obsess over traumatic experiences, compared to men who mostly never even talk about it. Feelings and endless talking isn’t my preference, which this show has PLENTY of. Rape is fairly a touchy subject for some, but come on. False accusations happen everyday, I’m glad someone’s questioning information that doesn’t add up. I don’t find it dark, it’s what’s happening daily in the world. However, I’ve seen Anime’s with a deeper and darker timeline.
* Little things stood out where they subconsciously focused on an action or image, at least enough to catch my attention.
•Putting pistol into a keyed safe at home & the children appear later.
• Bible or religious reverences.
• Imagery of Law Enforcement shown more negatively.
