This documentary correctly portrays Avery as garbage, it’s a blatant character assassination piece, they do a good job in setting up the audience in the 1st few episodes to hate Avery and uses that hate and the audience’s pre conceived bias to help push their narrative that he is guilty. Their target audience are those who only know about Avery’s case through Netflix’s MaM docuseries. This isn’t for people who’ve done their research on the case, you learn nothing new here. Great production though hence the 2 stars
