I made the decision not to play Battlefield 2042 because of the terrible reviews and harsh criticism the game received upon its release. Nevertheless, I purchased it after season 6 was revealed and maps were added, and I'm glad I did. Since then, the game has evolved, and I still think that the authentic essence of a battlefield is best captured by combining all kinds of combat vehicles, helicopters, and airplanes with foot soldiers who are all members of advantageous classes at the same time. I'd say: I'm truly loving it.
