The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. finished it in one sitting. Where to even start?? im an avid reader of mystery novels and recently started to have a liking to the cosy subgenre, and this book just popped off the chart. the immaculate narration, convoluted plot, fascinating and flawed characters and enough redherring to throw you off and put you back on track so it can throw you off again, its undeniable that Christie is a genius. this book particularly has always been a favourite of mine from the Poirot's adventures. The essence of this book in general i have no words for as it is just that incredible. i would do anything to reread this for the first time again. épatant!
