THIS IS NOT A SEQUEL. THERE IS ALMOST NO CONNECTION TO THE ORIGINAL MOVIE AT ALL. NONE OF THE ORIGINAL CAST WAS INVOLVED. THE COSTUMES AND ACTIONS OF THE ANTAGONISTS ARE THE ONLY CONNECTIONS TO THE ORIGINAL FILM. However, the casting in the 2018 movie was great, and there is a significantly greater amount of action along with a slightly more positive tone. There are still many unanswered questions from the previous film that have yet to be answered. It is still baffling as to why this movie is labelled as a sequel. Great action sequences and casting overall.
