Not usually the type to write movie reviews but this one is truly something special. How am I supposed to go to my lecture after this, I almost feel derealized. This movie actually understands how to write a tragedy, yet make it something beautiful and meaningful to the average person

I think the context of both of them having died in the apartment together really hammers in the themes of loneliness and how love is the most powerful emotion we are capable of feeling. The closing scene makes that clear as they literally defy their own death through a shared love on the brink of passing over. The reviews trying to pick this apart aren’t getting the plot, it’s about grief, a movie about passing on and coming to terms with a rather sad life. It took me a bit too but the criticism its getting really doesn’t make sense if you critically think about what it’s trying to say
