Not your usual Cumberbatch film! Very character driven - I thought it would be a crime show, but no it’s a beautifully orchestrated commentary on a couples loss of their child, and how they cope. If you like a gentle and excellently crafted movie this is for you.

I can’t make up mind about this series, I keep coming back to it but by 15 mins in I get that recurring bad taste in my mouth, which tells me I’m not enjoying it. It’s so gloomy! Paints a picture of a less than enviable future - maybe that’s why I’m struggling with it. I’m bored, and can’t really figure out why. I should love it, plenty of believable story lines, somehow I feel like I’m watching an episode of The Truman Show. So all in all it’s not for me.
