I don't quite understand how people love this book. It is complex and deeply explores Claire and Henry and other the time travel affects not only them but others around them. Although the book points out some good parts of Henry's condition such as knowing the lottery numbers, the readers truly get a sense of what a curse it truly is. I honestly could not stand Claire and Gomez. I've read some pretty messed up things and books, but this one took the cake. I get that Gomez represented a life could have had without Henry or the time travel, but the betrayal she does to her BEST FRIEND--it is just shitty. The fact that it happens more than once, too. Honestly, THE absolute WORSE ending of a book I've ever read. I don't want to spoil it, but it is pretty messed up. I have never wanted to contact an author so badly and ask what was up with this plot and characters so much in my life.
