Jon is great with his farmhouse ideas but Kristina is Way too modern & many of her remodels ruin the farmhouse feel! I cringe with her dark colors that Are Not authentic or painting beautiful natural wood trim. You Can update with new materials that are reproduced to look authentic but disappointed she rarely goes with that. She does not act like she has ever been in a farm, she acts like a prissy City Girl & probably why she misses the Old FARM FEEL! If people want Modern then why buy these gorgeous farm homes? Jon relies on Kristina, they are friends but he could use a designer that's actually focused on Farmhouse design...not just a few old beams while the rest looks like a NY apartment! I don't see the Saving Farmhouses point of the show? Just remodeling an old house to look newer but saving very little of their character. Jon's got the idea but not Kristina. I've watched from the beginning, it's entertaining but lacks authentic farmhouse remodeling!
