The characters grapple with problems such as undocumented immigration, closeted homosexuality, abortion rights, religious intolerance, access to health care, and physical disability. By the time the tornado finally shows up, nearly an hour into the movie, it arrives as a relief from all the social agenda being crammed down your throat. I am a sucker for disaster movies, but I mean natural disasters. This movie was an utter failure.
