I was entirely captured by the plot and the intrigue that characterizes this great work of Agatha Christie. From start to finish, I was engaged in the film that makes you think critically throughout. Visually aesthetic and the performance of Branagh was brilliant as always. Gadot has the Cleopatra look and even poses as the Queen of the Nile once during the film. There’s enough action in the screenplay to keep you entertained, the snake attack made me jump out of my seat! The WWI battle scene and the various shoot ‘‘em ups provides just the right amount of action filming without taking away from the detective murder genre. Great jazz and blues music and extraordinary dancing permeates like a soothing diversion from the grave nature of other more serious subplots. Lastly, wonderful period clothing also make the film a delightful pleasure in every sense.
