Gaming Bros

As someone who loves coraline this movie was as close as we’ll get to a live action. While there isn’t a portal to another realm, there is something in the walls, a small door, and parents who aren’t what they seem. The film doesn’t have too many jump scares..but the amazing Antony Starr delivers a very menacing performance. Taken straight from homelander he puts fear when it is needed. The ending was unexpected, i had multiple different ideas but when all was revealed i was amazed. *SPOILER* The sister (monster) took me out of the overall vibe. The entire movie was menacing and dark, but real. this creature could walk in walls and had a spider face..yet expected to be human?! Personally it took away the realism this movie had which truly made it scary. They could have just made antony start go full menacing mode and i think anyone would be very afraid.Still fun and good movie, with an amazing story and lots of twist.4/5
