Aiko Chan

The show has writing problems up the wazoo, it needed more episodes, more time to bake, and story lines needed to bake longer to even be half as effective. The characters come off at 2.5 d personality wise besides a select few who die, are captured, or other wise left unexplored. Some of the story lines just seemed like they were dropped to finish the season out while it seems to have an over all storyline it gets too muddled down in its own world building to actually tell the stroy. I would have liked this story to begin at the famine so we could see them go get the magma heart (macguffin number 1) and the queen to die which would have lent to some connection to her as a character, and maybe make her death impactful. Instead this series comes off with someone with adhd wrote it and it just got green light cause it seemed to try to be like avatar.
