Darkrock Comics

This film is absolutely wonderful and deeper than the complex issues portrayed throughout the film. Both Zendaya and John David Washington gave performances that echoed throughout many communities and deep social issues plaguing America. There are literally two movies in one and although visually there was never a drop of blood spilled on film, the emotional range of the two was expressed throughout the entire film. It truly was a journey of highs and terrible lows that made sure through the black and white film that the expression on their faces, the tone of their voices, and their body language was to be the clear cut focus of the film.
