Anna (stylized as ANИA) is a 2019 action thriller film written, produced and directed by Luc Besson. The film stars Sasha Luss as the eponymous assassin, alongside Luke Evans, Cillian Murphy, Helen Mirren, and Alexander Petrov.(wikipedia) This film received mixed reviews according to wikipedia. If the film made more than 1.6 million dollars in the box office, maybe, just maybe the positive review will outweigh the negative(yes, money shuts down alot of things is what I'm saying). What can I tell you about this film? The cinematography is alright - if they did something special, I didn't notice it. The team though, were pretty good. The transitions from flashbacks to flashforward(is that right?),like i said isn't special but it is as straight forward as it can be. I don't even know why I'm paying attention to the flashbacks, maybe because it happened alot in the film. The storyline is a 4.7/10, the execution is like a 6.9/10 and the cast is an 8.4/10. The story tried to be too smart but thankfully the casts didn't over do it. The storyline is delicate, predictable, annoying, exciting etc, the good stuff. I can't quite explain it the way I want to. The storyline is one of the good stuff, the 2019 goodstuff but coming after other big hit films, I expected better. The film is like a combination of salt,atomic blonde and then some - I didn't like that. I don't like the fact that when I saw the film, those two movies kept coming to mind. Although the film is almost like a 54% combination of salt and atomic blonde, the execution was so good( I don't even want to sully it further by comparing the main characters of all three films). If you read my updates frequently, you know I'm a sucker for a well executed action packed film. The combat sequence were good enough for me - I have no complaint. Sasha Luss made me proud and I've only seen just two of her films. Sasha Luss, as an actress is really professional, beautiful, dustinct and intense - I like her. I like how she was able to bring her character to life, and potray those emotions despite not doing so exactly. Audience don't even know if her emotions were real or fake, we only know she wants freedom(so.... desperation was real!). Her character, Anna, tarh! The backstory was sooooo boring and plain, I could have done better or at least not been too obvious (my apologies). However, I did like her character development, just a tad bit. The other supporting character, Murphy,Helen and petrov were beautiful - what we needed to know about their character is what we were told, straight for the kill. Oddly,i liked all of them together! Overall, the best way to enjoy the film is by having little to no expectations. The film is interesting in its own way. If you don't care much for a storyline(like I do, you'll enjoy this). I mean, comparing the film was bad on my part and I still did it anyways but that doesn't make the film any less than what it is(it's just my personal opinion, you should know that now😪). Also, the execution was good, yes but the counter measures were almost too much that it was becoming old and tiring. Spoiler - Anna basically, was a freelancer,no be rogue atp😂. I'd rate the film a 7.1/10. It got an extra mark because of the cast, really. It's not bad, it's a movie I'll see 3 times in two years(if I feel like). Did I regret seeing it? Not exactly. Again, the action sequence is worth it.The casts together is definitely worth it too. Also, the film is rather r for language, sex and death. Nothing too serve, just annoying ngl. There are guns, knife and blood, nothing gruesome. Thankfully, full nudity was played around - kinda like censored(-ish).

A short synopsis ; the film is about a man who thinks he got ghosted by his one night stand but refuses to acknowledge and respect that because he liked her but instead, went in pursuit of said girl and the journey was not at all, what he was expecting(don't come for me, I didn't want to reveal too much of a spoiler) The Cinematography is good, it's a whole thing on its own - I also dare say the film is colorful. The movie is really fast-paced, I don't understand why but it is exciting too. It's more like the film was meant to be a romantic comedy but then the action part(not the adventure) was added last minute. I have more than enough opinions on the film but putting them to words is the tough part because of how contradicting the film is. I'm not saying the film is bad but just that, there are somethings that could have been done different - I think the humour made up for most of it though. Although the film is a bit fast-paced, the fight scenes are not. If anything, the combat scenes were quite the opposite. The fight scenes are bit sloppy and slow for me. Regardless, it did deliver! Everything is on point, from costumes down to dialogues. On the topic of dialogues, the two main characters are popular sweethearts, Chris Evans and Ana de Armas. No comments on Chris Evans character, he has the face, body and charisma - it was a good choice with that one. Ana on the other hand, also has the face, body, charisma, dedication and.....fire? I guess. I don't think it's right to say anything more at this point. Overall, the movie is really interesting and humorous - you are sure to have a good laugh. Also the storyline is engaging, you won't lose interest halfway😅. The most unsuspecting part are the surprise guests on set - it's not that bad. The film is rated R for language and intimate scene(but it's a one time thing and it's at the very beginning).The Dua's song at the end was definitely a mood too Finally, the film runs for 116 minutes. The setting is the United States and the language is majorly in English.

To be direct, I haven't seen the first film,The craft. First, I'll admit that it is a supernatural film but horror?not exactly. If you're planning on seeing this film thinking you'll be spooked or something similar, I'm sorry to disappoint you - you won't! The film is somewhat intense though, you always want to know what's next. Each scene has you anxious for the next(so that's good). The camera quality is good, and the setting just aids the whole mood of the plot. The film isn't exactly predictable but even when I find myself surprised by a particular scene, it's just a mild surprise. The plot isn't the worst (keep in mind, there's a first film). The characters are a beautiful misxture of beauty and personalities. The casts are admirable, talented and obviously, beautiful people too. I like the character development that was done, it's not much but it's not bad either. Don't get me wrong, I've said great things about this film but that doesn't mean it's not flawed. With the storyline comes confusion and I think that was deliberate to excite fans that have unanswered questions...if there's ever a part two. Surely, I'd advice you to see the first film before you see this but the film is really straight forward so it would make sense either way. It is not all that bad. Overall, it's just supernatural teenage film like twilight but with more alive people and magic😂. It's nice as long as you're not thinking too hard or expecting much to come from the plot. I'd rate the film a 6.3/10. Finally, the setting is the United States, the language is English and the film runs for 97 minutes.

Let's get the Cinematography out of the way, the camera quality is really nice and it gives off a certain aesthetic vibes. I know this will sound weird because it's not the best way to describe a movie but the plot seems pretty chill, which is contradicting because the storyline is really raw - but still, the film comes as anything but intense. The film is realistic for me, tbh. Just this year I've seen maybe two/three cases of _'school shooting'_ in European countries and I know I had night terrors then just remembering the cctv footage I saw. The Fallout is really eye-opening and that's why I used the word _raw_ earlier. We see the the news about incidents like this happening from time to time and feel sympathetic for the students, parents, teachers and relatives of the people that unfortunately, lost their lives but that's it. It ends there, we don't know how how traumatic it is for the victims and with time we just move on and then what? What of the victims? The film is basically another point of view of such incidents. It talks and plays out the effects a _'school shooting'_ has on students and relatives of the students (both dead and alive). I don't know, I think it's pretty cool that someone sat down and wrote this masterpiece. We need more movies like this that addresses reality. Although I wish the movie had a more explicit ending and that it wasn't only vulnerable but the point of the story line is to capture and pull at the string of audiences emotions - which they succeeded at btw. The vulnerability is the selling point😅 The storyline has alot of emotions, from strength to weakness,anger,pain,trust and love. The major theme of the film(aside the obvious) is probably relationships and friendships. There's the relationship between the main character and her parents - together and individually, the relationship between the main character and her sister, her bestfriend, and two other school mates she happened to bond with. To avoid another lengthy paragraph, I'll tell you about the characters. The characters are strong individuals that don't even know of their own strength. The casts are another selling point of the the film. Their dialogue, emotions and actions are so real and painful, I couldn't honestly find a flaw. Jenna Ortega, Maddie Ziegler, Niles Fitch and the other main characters are just exceptional together. I loved them all. I'd rate the film a 7.7/10. The film is rated R for teen drugs and alcohol Usage,language(sexuality slur and the likes) and mild steamy scenes. Honestly, nothing too severe. Finally, the film runs for 92 minutes. The language is English and the setting is the United States.

Let me start by saying, this film is a real classic and I haven't seen it in a good while, so I might not do it enough justice(this wasn't the update I had in mind but I'm sure you'll enjoy it😅) . . . The story centers on a sixteen-year-old cancer patient, played by Woodley, forced by her parents to attend a support group, where she meets and subsequently falls in love with another cancer patient, played by Elgort. This is one of the most heart warming and heart breaking film of all times. I remember the cinematography is really alright - beautiful infact. I don't know, I feel everything I will type about this film will look similar to what what I wrote about 5 Feet Apart . Anyways, I can tell you the film is giving off an aesthetic vibe (which 5 feet apart didn't really give😅) With an open mind, let's get into it. The film is what you might call 'cliche' but the saving grace is the plot twist towards the end. The film is educative and really encouraging. I'll say the storyline is so raw - the pain, struggles and heartache leaves the film audience fragile and vulnerable(in a good way.JK!). It celebrates all forms of friendships, relationships and everything in between. Also, the storyline definitely captures the attention of the audience and then leaves them feeling like they can't get enough. Matter of fact, there's a particular scene in this film, I think some of us will be able to relate to - the hurt and at the same time, relief of ending a book but not getting the end you hoped for. As you can probably tell, I'm trying to play around the main storyline and not reveal any major spoiler for those that hasn't seen it yet. Finally, I must really commend the cast. They are beautiful, patient and exceptional at what they do. The two main characters in fact, their chemistry is nearly suffocating. The pain,anger, love and even fear is deeply felt. Overall, the film leaves you appreciative and more aware about things that go on not only in your life but in your surroundings and with others as well. It is a plot you think about days,maybe even weeks after seeing it - it leaves a lasting impression (I've used the word 'leaves' maybe four time now. I need to broaden my horizen😅). It really is educative - morally, mentally and emotionally. I'd rate it an 8.1/10. It is a classic and you might end up crying to but like Hazel Grace Lancaster said 'Pain demands to be felt'. I'm telling you, despite all the odds, you'll be satisfied by the end. The setting is in the United States. The film runs for 136 minutes and the language is in English.

Based on the 2006 book of the same name by Michael Lewis,the film tells the story of Michael Oher, an American football offensive lineman who overcame an impoverished upbringing to play in the National Football League (NFL) with the help of his adoptive parents Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy. The cinematography is so 2009 and If anything, it gives the film a sort distinct aesthetic vibe - it's beautiful really. Speaking of beautiful, the storyline is beautiful and one of a kind, literally. The Blind Side is an inspiring, emotion provoking and educative film(emphasis on the educative). Yes, I'll say the film is educative in various aspects. I, for one, learned more about being more compassionate but I'm not here to talk about myself . Moving on, the casts are incredible - I'm a fan. I've seen the characters in real life and while it seems in terms of race, the cast were carefully selected, I also think their acting skills are contributing factors. The casts are able to awaken emotions in the audience. I didn't find anything wrong with the cast. The man of the hour, Michael Oher, I believe couldn't be played by a better actor than Quinton Aaron(no shade) Aaron just gives off this protective vibes and I love him - I have so much to say but you just have to see it to feel it. My favorite thing about this film is that everyone is a main character. The story is about michael, yes, but everyone was given screentime. We get to see a little more about the others and how they are, as a person. Lily collins, on the other hand didn't do much but her character was felt(I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. I'm tingling all over out of excitement). I'm not certain of a lot of things but I know I want Sandra Bullock's wardrobe in this film, lol. There isn't anything wrong with this film. At least Michael Ohers didn't think so either. Overall, I find the film to be very inspiration and Heartwarming. It is not at all predictable. The actings were topnotch and each scene evoked emotions - a mix of anger, sadness, compassion, fear with a sprinkle of humour and a few scenes with moral lessons that we should know. I'd rate it a solid 8.9/10(it's bad enough that I'm rating someone's life story). But I can't give it a ten, sadly - not that it doesn't deserve a 10 but I'm too emotional moved by the film and I'd feel biased if I do (but that just tells how good it is). The film setting is in the United States, the language is in English and it runs for 126 minutes. It is available on Netflix(until july 31st), and Amazon prime videos (whoever uses it).

Just to be clear, biased or not, I have nothing bad to say about this film. . . This film is actually the first movie I'd give a solid 8 or more. The cinematography is so clean and clear - beautiful and colorful infact. I'll describe this film as a heartwarming and painful drama(contradicting, I know). I just have to say, it's well planned. On the note of how well the storyline is planned, the film is educational. The main characters are patients suffering from 'cystic fibrosis' and the likes. It's nice to address the fact that these people exists and are acknowledged. Though, the film received a few backlash because the ending isn't as encouraging to real CF patients and I get that, I really do. I think that's why I like the film more, it is raw and it is eye opening to how things don't always happen the way we want them to(don't come for me!). The film is something I never recovered from and I'm not even upset about that. It leaves a deep impression and has an impact on its audience - I still cry every other day like it's the first time. Five feet apart isn't only a classic because of the storyline but also because of its casts and playlist. The playlist is definitely an anthem on its own😂 - it's so amazing, I'm not even exaggerating. The playlist just adds to the entire mood of the movie(there are no words). Like I said, the cast are individually, beautiful people and even more beautiful characters. They possess the features and their performance are even more eloquent. They really did their part - I don't know how to put it into words, if you've seen it you know what I'm talking about. The film is interesting, captivating, educational and down right painful. I promise you'll cry at least twice, I can just tell😂. I love it. I'd rate it an 8.2/10(yes, an eight!) Also, the language is in English. The film runs for 118 minutes and the setting is in United States. It is a must watch really, even if you have to watch it again. It is not available on Netflix

A humanoid A.I.'s attempt at winning a grieving widow's heart puts it in the path of a government agent trying to stop the rise of machine consciousness.(Google) Basically, the movie is about a robot - A Sim, if you may, that was designed to a couple before the husband passed away in an accident. This couple, before the tradegy hit, had Humanoids created in their image(emotionally and mentally too, I think) so their love could live on forever but destiny had other plans. Like I said the husband passed and his wife, not being able to deal with his loss activated his Humanoid and made him play husband till she was tired of him and realized she didn't love the Sim like she did her real husband.....the movie developed more from there. There are other sides to the film too but wikipedia didn't upload even a short synopsis, so I have to do this myself just to get the main idea of the movie across. I can't place my finger on what exactly i was expecting but stimulant isn't giving me what I want. My initial reaction isn't 'Wow' but 'is this it?'. I wanted more but the film is basically a foreplay(pardon my french). There has to be a part two but even if there is a part two, I'm not pumped to see it. The storyline seem like a summary was again summarized for the second time, not to mention it was rushed - a whole 94 minutes and still it was rushed. Idk! In terms of cinematography, I'll say it is intelligent - it is only fair. The main issue I have with the film is that the producers tried to make the film smarter than it really is. A thriller it really is. I also find the plot to be predictable (for the most part). I could keep picking alot of red flags about this film but then it's not fair because of the hardwork and time put towards the production(a little too late for that, but I could keep going). At least, the plot was straight forward for the most part. The casts did their parts as the characters well. The film informs the audience more about artificial intelligence and that's it for me, really. I'm not impressed. I'd rate it a 4.1/10 - I know I'm not seeing it again, sadly. The language is in English. The film runs for 94 minutes and the setting is in Canada. If it is a film you've been anticipating, you should probably see it. First, the cinematography is good. It is so clear (as it should be) especially because a handful of scene was shot in the dark. The fact they could shoot the film and create those conditions - the storm and the likes, it just seem so creative. The film is suspenseful and that's what gives it an eerie feeling. The plots itself wasn't suspenseful, rather it is the dialogue/conversations (whatever it's called) of the characters that keep it that way. Speaking of the characters, they were really good. I like that everyone are just their own person, but in a way they're involved - they have something in common. Although the characters might seem cool but they are very cliche. The film tried to be smart and rightfully so too. It all seems predictable at the beginning but then it's not(no further spoiler). Idk, it kinda reminds me of another movie but I can't recall it's name. Bodies Bodies Bodies is a film you'll think about even after you've seen it. It's has a questionable playlist though 😂. Oh and the movie is Rated R for substance use, sexual content and languages (talks of mental health too). So...see it? Idk Also, the language is in English. The film runs for 94 minutes. I'd rate the movie a 6.3/10 - not that it was bad. I came to like it eventually.

When four thick-as-thieves friends arrive in Thailand they quickly find themselves in over their heads. Fighting to stay alive, they employ their unique set of skills and unleash their fierce loyalty in a heart-pumping battle for survival.(IMBd) Sheroes is a Mystery/Adventure film(according to google) and rightfully so at that but it also leans toward action and comedy too. It's like _'Old Guard' and 'mean girls'_ combined, except without terminators and the whole high school setting, lol - if that makes any sense. The film is definitely flawed like audiences are saying but it doesn't make it any less exciting. I mean it doesn't make any sense how these girls posses the skills and equipment they do by simply being who they are(I'm trying not to give a spoiler), you know what I mean if you've seen it. Aside that, I find the film interesting. It got even better because the film was categorized as an adventure movie, the comedy was expected but the action was not and that makes it even more engaging for the audience(I'm definitely biased rn). Although the plot was unexpected, I can't say I was surprised by the outcome. I find the film to be somewhat predictable but it was not annoying at any point (to me). Also, the cast were absolutely beautiful - in person and also in Character. I love them, I love their roles and I love how well they did. I can't say anymore, to keep my excitement at bay. I'd rate it a 7.1/10. It's interesting, it's funny and oh- it's rated R for substance use, sexual content and languages too. If you're alright with all that, see it if you haven't. The language is in English and it runs for about 90+ minutes (idk).
