I LOVED IT!!!!!! LOVE< LOVE< LOVED IT!!!! Dame JD was great as Old Deuteronomy. Actually,it was really well done. BUT, If you are unfamiliar with the Broadway Show, maybe I can see how some people cannot understand or like the movie, Cats. Personally, I was mouthing the words (no one heard me) to all the songs and was surprised how they modernized it. We live in a different society and culture. Maybe the younger gen's just do not get it.I bought the soundtrack today & will be going back to see it. I feel it was very well done. And the ears perking and tails doing their own thing was cool. Just my opinion. BTW....Rolling Stones has had a long reputation of getting movies, music WRONG, just saying
