I was very disappointed with the movie. There was no suspense including when Noah falls. I thought the movie jumped from one scene to another too quickly. When the gorillas chase the “wild” humans, it’s a scene from the original movie except there are zebras present. But what happens to the “wild” humans. And the girl they call Nova talks too well. It is like she walked out of our century ( or a Hollywood lot) into this movie! I thought the premise of the rise of the speaking apes was caused by a virus which caused the humans to die and those humans that survived, lost the ability to speak. However her English didn’t seem affected! Lastly, I have seen the original Planet of the Apes when it first appeared in the theater and all of the sequels since, as well as this rebooted series which I enjoyed, but not this one. Save your money and watch it when it streams!
