First time I checked it out I really didn’t care for it. After a few episodes i was done. Then COVID hit. Spent the better part of a year home and out of work with the rest of the family and after running through most everything that Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ had to offer we gave it another shot. I stuck with it because two of my kids got a kick out of it and wanted to keep going. I’m glad we did. Yeah the acting was bad (mostly season 1 and 2 but it did get a lot better), story wasn’t anything special, had a low budget (I’m guessing), and there are just some really dumb scenes. But overall by the middle of the third season I started liking it more than the walking dead. I know ones a drama and the other is a comedy/drama but at least this show went somewhere. Anyways, I’d recommend watching the show if you like a fun story, decent action and a ok amount of comedy

Just a awful show. It resembles the book series in name only. I expected some changes to be made because there is just too much story contained within the book series. I understand that a different approach needs to be taking for a tv series but the director is way to liberal with the changes he made. The only comment I’ve seen that somewhat makes this trash even a little acceptable was from Sanderson himself. He states that this version of the story is just a different spinning of the wheel with the same people. Which is fine I guess but that’s not how this show was presented leading up to its release. If that was the statement before release rather than after I could accept that and maybe even be able to like the show. But as it is I just can’t. Too many changes to core characters personalities and poor execution of the story. There’s just too much to list. Simplest to say that while I was very excited when the news of the show being made was released and after watching the first three episodes twice I won’t be watching another minute of this series. I hope it does well for those that like it and they can find some of the joy I found in reading the series. Edit: 12/24/21 Well I went against my word and ended up watching the series till the end to give it a fair shot. And wow just wow I can’t believe how terrible it was. This show is literally the worst adaptation ever. An illiterate 6 year old could have done a better job telling the story while using crayons to create the artwork. Rafe owes every fan who read the series an apology and needs to do the right thing and walk away immediately. If he truly loves the book series as much as he says he does then he needs to walk. He failed horribly and if he doesn’t walk away then he is just a coward

I wanted to like this show but it's just bad. Really really bad. I grew up when Roseanne was originally on t.v and I hoped this show would be close enough to watch. It's not, I can't stomach this show. The show is filled with every political, social, # movement that there is out there. Instead of trying to throw out your opinion on every single thing poorly just pick a couple and do it well. It just comes across forced and poorly executed. Can't believe this show is on its 3rd season or that it has a 90 plus percent positive review ratings from "fans". There's no way you can try to hit every single issue out there and make it feel believable or viable. Again choose a couple that are really important and do it well spend time creating a story that has depth and actually make someone think instead of just playing duck duck go with all the issues, tap it on the head run around for a second and move on to the next "issue". You've done nothing worth doing that way and you've highlighted nothing of importance.
