I love this game. I played it when it first came out. I was in high school then and I'm still playing it now. I've played 90% of the AC games since Altair. In my opinion, it's one of THE best releases within the AC game series. The game's successors never really left such a permanent impression as AC Origins. The story is immersive, the setting is superb and the character development is fantastic. There's a lot to do in the game but it doesn't feel like a drag (nor is it too short), compared to the other releases after AC Origins. The side quests are just as interesting as the main story. I have repeated playing this game again and again within the last 7 years because its just THAT good. Obviously, depending on your expectations and preference for gameplay you might think differently but I think it's certainly worth a try!
