The characters are well-founded and their execution of their roles influence the realistic aspect of the series. I love the character, Queen Victoria. Her boldness and intelligent motivated me to pay more constant attention to each episode. She made it clear that women are not objects to be protected and controlled. The setting and the laws governing the monarch perfectly coincided with those of the ancient times, which is a plus. Good job.
