the story of the machine gunner is true ,his name was Bruno Gaido, He was captured on june 4 1942-and executed in captivity on june 15 1942 by the japanese. There is a monument dedicated to him at the Hawaii National Cemetery.Let us all think for a moment of the freedom those young men gave their lives for.
