I actually haven’t read this book, but I did read the preview. We in Australia have similar problems, admittedly not so advanced as the UK, place of my birth. Our increasingly bad economy is as a result of left wing governments, militant and corrupt unions, ever increasing restrictions on freedoms and environmental policies that are crippling the country. Different countries, similar problems, yet opposing ideologies. I won’t read this book, perhaps the reasons for the demise of western democracies lies elsewhere.

Don’t know anything about this book, but the correct preposition is ‘bored with’ not ‘of’.
