A rather uninspired, unoriginal film that relies on jump takes instead of plot points. About midway through the film all i could think of was how easy it would be to do a parody, "The Fleeing Nun", with Simon and Garfunkles' "Cecelia" as the theme song. By the time the plot went over the top whit the killing of Mother Superior with a crucifix, it devolved to camp instead of horror, the audience was laughing at the fire.
It attempts to be Rosemary's baby without the pacing, Midsummer without the everyday horror, and Reanimator without the humor. How did I know when the jump starts would happen, or that the protagonist would end up in the catacombs? Too predictable.
