I enjoyed the show in the beginning. However, the characters' individual dramas became so exaggerated and drawn out that they became frustrating and boring. The way Vince and Sharon kept assuming the worst about Brode; Sharon and her damn kidney disease: ridiculous fire emergencies that are miraculously solved; the whole prison episode - there is no way in hell that would be permitted in real life; paramedics administering medical care that real paramedics cannot perform; high school dialog. The season finale did it for me. I don't think I can stomach another season where every time things look up for someone, it turns to dust just to keep viewership. It needs better writers. The show was silly and became tedious to watch.
