I was disappointed. Not because of the writing. Con Iggulden is by far my favorite writer and story teller. I have read the Conquer Series and the Emperor Series. I waited so patiently for this book to be released. I was disappointed in the fact that the first of this series was called Nero and it wasn't about him at all. Even though this is undoubtedly a series, this first book felt unfinished I am sad to say.
