Beautiful mix of old and new. I have been a player of the game since the first when it released. I've played every game, and am what is known as a "completionist". They have taken the best elements of the last few Legacy games (AC Origins, AC Odyssey, ND AC Valhalla) and have mixed them, beautifully blending, with many aspects of our older games (AC1, Ezio saga, America/Caribbean saga). Having eagle vision and the bird is one of the best mixing of the two to mention. There isn't a ton of extra junk to complete like the Legacy sagas. It's simplified and majestic. However, the fighting mechanic could use an overhaul. It's slow, lethargic, and has real issues with delivery of blows. The storyline is great, but.... no spoilers here!! We have gone back to stealthy assassin qualities like pickpocketing, eavesdropping, and stealth kills. Overall, it's a wonderful game, just a few things to iron out.
