The movie, A Thousand And One was a good movie until the last 20 or so minutes. The acting is Amazing!!! The whole cast did an awesome job. The ending was terrible… a real energy drain. And why did Inez smile like that when the driver asked, “Where to?” I was going along for the ride of the movie, but wanted a resolution for what happened to the apartment, etc. I go to the movies for happy endings… I could have gone back home to where I grew up to see this outcome. Although Terry will have better options in life thanks to Inez’ choices, I was depressed at the end and felt like I had been punched in the gut and had the wind knocked out of me. This is not a movie I will watch again, unless there is a DVD with an alternate ending. I want a happy ending, dammit. 🙏🏽💞🙏🏽 Great job overall.
